The mission of the Washington State Potato Commission (WSPC) is to support an economically and environmentally sustainable Washington state potato industry by providing strong leadership and innovation, and building partnerships to meet the demands of global consumers. For the past four years, What’s Your Avocado? Marketing & Public Relations has helped the WSPC fulfill their mission by creating the commission’s annual report. This document serves two purposes: it’s a tool to communicate with potato commission members to explain what the WSPC is doing to help them and the industry; it is also used as an educational tool to communicate with influencers such as lawmakers and regulators outside of the potato industry who need to know about issues that impact potato growers.
